HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-237AVILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH (� Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village �f ,'Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was held on the 11th day of iSeptember, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen ;;Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following were absent: None. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its !adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-237 (A) WHEREAS, a Subdivision Variance has been requested by Antoine Poppelaars, ;owner of Lots 17 and 18, Block 2 of Ivanhoe Woods, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has now determined that the subdivision of ;said land into three parcels, each containing less than five (5) acres would +not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Regulations of the Village of Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such Subdivision would create an un- '1necessary hardship on said owner, a NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF ;PLYMOUTH that compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358, Subdivision ,;4, Minnesota Statutes and Chapter VII of the Village Code relating to convey ances of unplatted land containing an area of less than five (5) acres is here rby waived with respect to the following described parcels: 'r PARCEL A (17,500 square feet t) i The North 95.0 feet of Lot 18, Block 2, Ivanhoe Woods, when measured at right angles to the North line thereof. i PARCEL B (17,500 square feet ±) ! i? Lot 18, Block 2, Ivanhoe Woods, except the North 95.0 feet when �'l measured at right angles to the North line thereof and that part i of Lot 17 lying Northerly of the Southwesterly 80.0 feet thereof. i PARCEL C (20,000 square feet t) �( The Southwesterly 80.0 feet of Lot 17, Block 2, Ivanhoe Woods. l� BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that approval of said subdivision is subject to the following conditions: �? 1. That the Building Department specify a minimum elevation for the base- ment floor level to assure minimum difficulty with water problems. 2. That additional charges for sewer and water connections associated i with the increased number of lots be born by the property owner. �! 3. Due to the problems of elevation as set forth in condition i!1, that the plans for the houses be submitted to the Planning Director for his approval with regard to building size, building placement on the lot and grading of the three lots. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded i '',by Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in ';favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils.
