HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-206VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular ($000;01) mee-�ing of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 19th day of June 1972. i 'The following members were present: Mayon Hilde, Councilmen i ;Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth !The following members were absent: None Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-206 A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF SECTION 462.358 SUBDIVISION 4, MINNESOTA STATUTES AND SECTION 9.02 OF CHAPTER VII OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATIVE TO CONVEY- ANCES BY METES AND BOUNDS OF PARCELS OF LAND CONTAINING LESS THAN FIVE ACRES WHEREAS, Arthur Naustdal on behalf of the owner, Edward Schommer, who owns land in the South half of Section 19, has requested a Subdivision Variance, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has now determined that the subdivision of said land into two parcels, both of which would contain less than five (5) acres, would not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Regulations of the Village of Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such subdivision would create an un- necessary hardship on such owner, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. Compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358 Subdivision 4, Minnesota Statutes and Section 9.02 of Chapter VII of the Village Code relating to con- veyances by metes and bounds of parcels of land con- taining an area of less than five (5) acres is hereby waived with respect to the following described parcels: PARCEL A The West 120.0 feet of the North 221.5 feet of the North- west 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 19, Township 118, Range 22, except road PARCEL B The North 396.0 feet of the East 330.0 feet of the North- west 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 19, Township 110, Range 22, except the West 120.0 feet of the North 211.5 feet of the Northwest 1/4 of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 19, Township 118, Range 22, except road. 2. The Village Clerk is directed to prepare a certified copy of this Resolution for recording purposes.
