Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular (s,�iyy)
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth,
Minnesota, was held on the 5th day of June 1972. The
following members were present: Mavor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt.
Spaeth Seibold and Neils
The following members were absent: None
Councilman Seibold introduced the following
Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72-192
A RESOLUTION WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF
SECTION 462.358 SUBDIVISION 4, MINNESOTA
STATUTES AND SECTION 9.02 OF CHAPTER VII
OF THE VILLAGE CODE RELATIVE TO CONVEY,
ANCES BY METES AND BOUNDS OF PARCELS OF
LAND CONTAINING LESS THAN FIVE ACRES
WHEREAS, Palmer J. Kvalness, President of GRO Corporation,
the prospective purchaser of property owned by the Northwestern
Railroad Company located in the North half of Section 36 of the
Village of Plymouth, has requested a Subdivision Variance, and
WHERZAS, the Village Council has now determined that the
subdivision of said land into two parcels, both of which would
contain less than five (5) acres, would not interfere with the
purposes of the Subdivision Regulations of the Village of
Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such subdivision would
create an unnecessary hardship on such owner,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. Compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358
Subdivision 4, Minnesota Statutes and Section 9.02
of Chapter VII of the Village Code relating to con-
veyances by metes and bounds of parcels of land con-
taining an area of less than five (5) acres is hereby
waived with respect to the following described parcels:
PARCEL A
That part of the Northeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter
of Section 36, Township 118 North, Range 22 West -of the
Fifth Principle Meridian, bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the intersection of the East.line of said
Quarter Quarter Section and the North line of the South 30
feet thereof, thence Westerly along said North line a dis-
tance of 525 feet; thence Northerly parallel with the East
line of said Quarter Quarter a distance of 182.15 feet to
a point distance 9 feet Southwesterly measured radially,
from the center line of the presently located sput track,
said point being the point of beginning of the land to be
described; thence continuing Northerly along said parallel
line a distance of 17.85 feet to a point distant 200 feet
Nc-th of the North line of the South 30 feet of said Quarter
Quarter; thence East parallel -With the South line of said
Quarter Quarter a distance of 30 feet; thence Northerly
parallel with the East line of said Quarter Quarter a dis-
tance of 377.80,_feet; thence Westerly parallel with the South
