HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-189VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, was hel d or, the 22nd day of May, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Seibold and Neils. The follow- ing members were absent: Councilmen Spaeth and Hunt. Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-189 A RESOLUTION DIRECTING PUBLICATION OF NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED ASSESSMENT FOR THE FOLLOWING IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PROJECT IMPROVEMENT 8 AREA 71-1,2,0,8-A Portion of the West Side Medicine Lake Project PLAT PARCEL 44210 220 44210 410 44210 420 44210 620 44210 800 44210 1,400 44210 2010, 44210 2402` 44210 2600 44215 500 44215 2500 44215 3000 43735 1.810 43735 4700 44547 3000 44547 4000 44547 5000 44547 6000 44547 7000 44590 1500 44590 3000 44590 4500 44590 6000 44590 7500 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS: 1. A proposed assessment roll for the above name improve- ment, prepared by the Village Clerk, with the assistance of Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. having been ordered and received is hereby placed on file in the office of the Village Clerk, where it shall be and remain open to public inspection. 2. The Village Clerk shall publish notice of the times and place of a hearing on such proposed assessment in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the time specified for such hearing. The Clerk shall also mail a copy of such notice to the owner of each parcel of land described in the assessment roll, with such mailed notice to be given no less than two reeks prior to the date of hearing on such proposed assessment roll. 3. Such notice shall state the date, time and place of such hearing, the general nature of the improvement, the area proposed to be assessed, that the proposed assessment roll is on file with the Clerk, and that written or oral objections thereto by any property owner will be con- sidered. 4. The Village Clerk shall meet at the time and place specified in such notice to pass upon such proposed assessment. S. The date set for the; public hearing is June 19, 1972 to 1 be held at 7:00 p.m.`at the'Villale'Public Works Building 14900C 23rd Avenue North. The motion for the adoption of the fo-regoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Neils and Seibold. The following voted against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk, of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a special meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on May 22, 1972 with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
