HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-171VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 15th day of May, 1972. The following members were present: Councilman Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: Mayor Hide. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-171 WHEREAS, a Subdivision Variance has been requested by Louise Margaret McNamara, the owner of the property in the South half of Section 30 of the Village of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has now determined that the sub- division of said land into two parcels, both of which would con- tain less than five (5) acres, would not interfere with the pur- poses of the Subdivision Regulations of the Village of Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such subdivision would create an un- necessary hardship on such owner, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. Compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358, Sub- division 4, Minnesota Statutes and Section 9.02 of Chapter VII of the Village Code relating to conveyances by metes and bounds of parcels of land contianing an area of less than five (5) acres is hereby waived with respect to the following described parcels subject to the sub- mission of soil absorption tests prior to building per- mits being issued: PARCEL A All that part of Government Lot 3, Section 30-118-22 lying Westerly of the following described line: Com- mencing at a point on the North line of said Lot 3, distant 1143.12 feet West of the center section of said Section 30; thence angle left 58 degrees 00 minutes a distance of .91.7 feet; thence angle left 27 degrees 00 minutes a distance of 125.0 feet more or less to the shore line of Mc:oney Lake. PARCEL B All that part of Government Lot 3, Section 30-118-22 lying Westerly of the following described line: Com- mencing at a point on the North line of said Government Lot 3 distant 1053.0 .» t West of the center section of said Section 30; thence ai.gle left 70 degrees 40 minutes a distance of 245.0 feet more or less to the shore line of Mooney Lake, except that part described as Parcel A.
