following members were present: Mayor Hilde,_Councilmen Hunt,
Spaeth. Seibold and Neils
The following member -'s were absent: None..
Councilman Seibold introduced, the following Resolution and:
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72-164
WHEREAS, the continuing concern over rising crime rates '
necessitates new and imaginative efforts to deter thefts of per-
sonal property, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Plymouth and its citizens, in a co-
operative and united effort, can.work together to reduce the
�°. opportunity for the. occurence of crime,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that this Council hereby approves and
adopts the Property Identification Program, and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Police Department is hereby
authorized to acquire the necessary supplies and'equipment, a3
recommended by the Chief of Police, at a cost not to exceed .$x`1,029.-
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded.by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor-Hlide
Councilmen Hunt and Seibold. CouncilmanSpaeth abstained

Whereupon the resolution was declared duly.passed and adopted
