Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was
held on the first day of May, 1972. The following members were
present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils.
The following members were absent: None.
Councilman Hunt introduced the following Resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 72-151
WHEREAS, Stanley Jensen representing Standard Oil Company
has requested a Conditional Use Permit for installation of car
wash equipment in the existing service station at County Road 73
and State Highway 55 under the provisions of the Plymouth Village
Zoning Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the existing and projected traffic volumes being
generated from the commercial development at the County Road 73
and State Highway 5.5 area result in required public street im-
provements, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary that the Southerly access
drive on County Road 73 to the Standard Oil Service Station -be
eliminated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that a Conditional Use Permit for a car wash
to be established in an existing Standard Oil Service Station at
County Road 73 and State Highway 55 be approved subject to the
existing Southerly access drive to County Road 73 being abandoned,
and should a problem with traffic develop, a solution will be
found or the Conditional Use Permit will be rescinded.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde.
Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following voted
against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed
and adopted.
