HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-149VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the First day of May , 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth. The following members were absent: None Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and oved its adoption: RESOLUTIO4 NO. 72•-149 WHEREAS, a Subdivision Varidnce has been requested by M.G. Astleford, the owner of the property in the South 1/2 of Section 1 of the Village of Plymouth, and WHEREAS, the Village Council has now determined that the sub- divisionof said land into two parcels, one of which would contain less than five (5) acres, would not interfere with the purposes of the Subdivision Regulations of the Village of Plymouth and that a refusal to permit such subdivision would create an unnecessary i hardship on such owners, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS: 1. Compliance with the provisions of Section 462.358, Subdivision 4, Minnesota Statutes and Section 9.02 of Chapter VII of the Village Code relating to conveyances by metes and bounds of parcels of land containing an area of less than five (5) acres is hereby waived with respect to the following described parcel That part of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 1, Township 118, Range 22, described as follows: Beginning at a point on the East line of said Section 1, distant 1230.5 feet South of the East 1/4 corner thereof; thence at right angles West 415 feet; thence at right angles South 60 feet; thence at right angles East 415 feet; thence North along the East line thereof a distance of 60 feet to the point of beginning, except the East 175 feet thereof; to- gether with that part commencing at the intersection of the North line of said East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 with a line drawn parallel to and 175 feet West, measured at right angles, from the East line of said East 1/2 of the South- east 1/4; thence South along said parallel line to its intersection with a line drawn West at right angles to said. East line from a point thereon 1080.5 feet South from the Northeast corner of said East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4; thence West along the last described Tine 340 feet to a point 515 feet West from said East line; thence South parallel to said East line 150 feet to the point of be- ginning,.thence East at a right angle a distance of 100 feet; thence South parallel to said East line a distance of 60feet;.thence West at right angles a distance of 100 feet; thence North at right angle to the point of beginning 1 !lPage 2, Resolution 72-149 The Village Clerk is directed to prepare a certified copy of this Resolution for recording purposes. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was uly seconded by Councilman Hunt and upon vote being taken hereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, ouncilmen Hunt, Neils, Seibold and Spaeth he following voted against: None.
