HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-148VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the first day of May, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Huot, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTTON N0, 72-148 WHEREAS, Dr. Sam P. Vardalos has requested a Conditional Use Permit for a home occupation under the provisions of the Village of Plymouth Zoning Ordinance to be conducted in his home at 17730 25th Avenue North, and WHEREAS, said Ordinance requires a home occupation must not result in "noise, fumes, traffic, light and odors to such an ex- tent that it is noticeable that the property is being used for non-residential purposes", and WHEREAS, it is the determination of this Council that the proposed use would be of such an extent that it would be visible that the property were being used.,fornon-residential purposes, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the request of Dr. Sam P. Vardalos for a home occupation Conditional Use Permit be denied. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Neils, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Seibold and Neils. The following oted against: Councilman Spaeth. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. 1 >1
