HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-144VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th eay of April, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils.j The following were absent: None. j Councilman Neils introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-144 WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Area Management Association has established a committee to enter into collective bargaining with representatives of Local 49, International Union of Operating Engineers, and WHEREAS, The Village of Plymouth recognizes Local 49 as the collective bargaining agent for non -supervisory employees of the Public Works Department, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that the Metropolitan Area Management Associ- ation Local 49 Negotiating Committee serve as Plymouth's repre- sentative in negotiations with Local 49, International Union of Operating Engineers, for a one-year contract for 1973, and further that the Village shall retain the right to review the final proposal before it is made to the union. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following voted against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
