HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-136w VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of April, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils.'. The following members were absent: None. Councilman Spaeth introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-136 WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Highways has prepared plans, special provisions and specifications for the improvement of a part of Trunk Highway Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 55 within the corporate limits of the Village of Plymouth from the Western corporate limits to the junction of Interstate Highway 494, and WHEREAS, said special provisions are on file in the off.ce of the Department of Highways, St. Paul, Minnesota, being marked, labeled and identified as S.P. 2722-32 and S.P. 2723-39 (55=188). which, together with the Minnesota Department of Highways Speci- fications for Highway Construction, dated January 1, 1972. on file in the office of the Commissioner of Highways, constitute the specifications for said improvement of Trunk Highway Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 55, and WHEREAS, copies of said plans and special provisions as so marked, labeled and identified are also on file in the office of the Village Clerk, and WHEREAS, the term "said plans and special provisions" as hereinafter used in the body of this resolution shall be deemed and intended to mean, refer to, and incorporate the plans and special provisions in the foregoing recitals particularly iden- tified and described, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of Trunk Highway Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 55 within the limits of the Village of Plymouth be and hereby are approved, and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the elevations and grades as shown in said plans and special provisions be and they are hereby approved, and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by the construction of said Trunk Highway Number 118 renumbered as Trunk Highway Number 5.5 in accordance with said plans and special provisions. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hunt, and upon vote being taken there- on, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Council- men Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following voted against: None. Whereupon the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on April 17, 1972 with the original thereon on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
