Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, K regular bV1Sft: t
meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth,

Minnesota was held on the 3rd day of Avril 1972,
The following members were present:- Mayor Hilde, Councilmen
Spaeth, Hunt, and Neils.

The following meiubers were absent:
Councilman Hunt
luncilman Seibold

introduced the following
Resolution and moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION N0, 72-124
WHEREAS, the time expended in the preparation of official
Council minutes is considered to be excessive as measured by
the results, and
WHEREAS, the entire official proceedings may be more
efficiently recorded for a more complete public record,

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH:
The Council of the Village of Plymouth hereby authorizes
the use of a magnetic tape recorder to fully record all Council
meetings subject to the following:
1. All official Council meetings shall be fully recorded.
Such recordings shall not be deemed to be part of the
officialCouncil minutes. I
{` 2. All tapes shall be preserved by the Village Clerk for
a period of two years, unless otherwise directed by the
Council.
3. Official Council minutes shall continue to be kept by
the Clerk and approv ed by the Council. These minutes'
shall reflect all actions taken by the Council in such
a fashion as to clearly represent the; nature and intent
of actions taken by the Council. `
+ The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was
duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being }
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor
Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt, and Neils.
The following- voted against Qom: none
Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. :#
