HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-119VILLAGE OF `PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Councilofthe Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 20th day of, March, 1972. The following members were present:` Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth and Seibold. The following members were absent: Councilman Neils. Councilman Spaeth moved the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-119 WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the�im provement of the .following project 138-001, Chelsea Woods Phase ,IIs Sewer and Water, bids were received, -opened and tabulated accord ing to law and the following bids were received complying wiW the advertisement: Engineer's Estimate (135.000.00 Nor_thdalerConst. Chapman Const.- Co. 5%; 177,,.'41.40 WHEREAS,, 'it appears that Northdale 'Construction Company, Inc. is "the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE"`IT"RESOLVED BY'THE VILLAGE' COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The Mayor and Village Manager are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Northdale Con- struction Company, Inc. in the name of the Village of; Plymouth for Project #138-001 Chelsea _Woods Phase IL' :ewer and Water improvements approved by the Village Council and on file in the office of the Village Engineer; 2. The Village Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to return the bid bond security'to.all bidders forth with. The security of the successful bidder (and the: next lowest bidder) shall be, retained until a contract has been signed. The 'ntion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth and Seibold. The following abstained: Council- man Hunt. Whereupoi, the 4e�;,;jtlin was declared duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on March 20,-1972 with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
