MEETING OF VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA
April 3, 1972
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting
of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth was held on
April 3, 1972 at the Council Chambers, 14900 C 23rd Avenue North,
Minneapolis, Minnesota, commencing at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The
following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth,
Hunt and Neils. The following members were absent: Councilman
Seibold.
Councilman Hunt introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
"RESOLUTION NO. 72-113"
A RESOLUTION VACATING DRAINAGE AND UTILITY
EASEMENT
WHEREAS, a petition was received from Jerry E. Harrington
and Leilani M. Harrington requesting the vacar.ion of a portion
of a utility and drainage easement over and across a portion of
the following described property, to -wit:
Lot 6, and the East 15 feet of Lot 5, Block 2,
Shorewood Acres Addition, and
WHEREAS, the Village Council did on the 20th day of
September 1971 adopt Resolution No. 71-333 setting the date of
October 18, 1971 at 7:30 o'clock p.m. as the date for a public
hearing to consider the petitioners' request,and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of October 1971 a public hearing
was held with respect to the proposed vacation and all persons
present were afforded the opportunity to be heard,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL
OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH AS FOLLOWS:
1. The drainage and utility easement over,
under and across the following described property,
to -wit:
The North 5 feet of the South 120 feet of
Lot 6 and the North 5 feet of the South 120
feet of the East 15 feet of Lot 5, in Block 2,
Shorewood Acres Addition,
is hereby vacated.
2. The Village Clerk is directed to furnish to
petitioners a certified copy of the within resolution
for the purposes of recording the same with the
Register of Deeds in and for Hennepin County, Minnesota."
The above motion was seconded by Councilman Spaeth and
upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor
thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt, Neils and
Seibold. The following voted against: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and
adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Village Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby
certify that I have carefully comrared the attached and
foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the Village
Council of said Village held April 3, 1972 with the original
thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and
complete transcript therefrom insofar as the same relates to
vacating a drainage and utility easement.
WITNESS, My hand officially as such Village Clerk and the
corporate seal of the Village this 4th day of April 1972.
