HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-103xr VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH The following members were absent: Councilman Hunt .introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-103 WHEREAS, the present five-year contract for street lighting between the ViII4!e and Northern States Power expires April 1, 1972, and F WHEREAS, Northern States Power Company has notified the Village it intends to terminate the existing contract on April 1, 1972 and has present6kna-4ew contract to become effective April 1, 1972 t 3 NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: That this Council hereby accepts the proposed contract of Northern States Power Company, a Nlinnesota corporation, to furnish street lighting service with all lights locatdd or'to be located in said Village, and approves all rates, terms, conditions, and specifications in the Street Lighting Contract made a.' part of the proposal of said Company and the Mayor and Manager are hereby authorized and directed to execute the aforesaid Contract for and in the name ; of the Village. # a i The motion for the adoption of the foregoing -Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Seibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the.following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde` (`n»nri7mwn Spaeth.
