HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-055VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 7th day of February, 1972. The following members were present: Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Neils and Seibold. The following member was absent: Mayor Hilde. Councilman Neils introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-55 WHEREAS, the St. Paul Package and Furniture Company, 1169 Wayzata Blvd., requested approval to rezone from B-3 to B-2 the property located at the southwest corner of Merrimac Lane and Highway /101. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: 1. The rezoning request received from the St. Paul Package and Furniture Company as stated above is hereby denied. 2. The staff is directed to re-evaluate said parcel at the south west corner of Merrimac Lane and Highway 8101 as it fits into the overall guide plan to see if it requires specific recon- sideration as it relates to the comprehensive guide plan. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Saibold and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Neils and Seibold. The following voted against or abstained: None. Whereupon the resolution was duly passed and adopted. STATE OF MINNESOTA ) COUNTY OF HENNEPIN ) SS. VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH) I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the foregoing extract of the minutes of a regular meeting of the Village Council of said Village held on February 7, 1972, with the original thereof on file in my office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript therefrom.
