HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 1972-031I VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council of the Village of Plymouth, Minnesota was held on the 17th day of January, 1972. The following members were present: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Hunt, Spaeth, Seibold and Neils. The following members were absent: None. ,tr�r tr* •t: Councilman Seibold introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 72-31 WHEREAS, the Metro Sewer System's Interceptor Sewer, Lift Station and Forcemain have been constructed, WHEREAS, the Village is better prepared to economically maintain these stations, and WHEREAS, it would be uneconomical for the Metro Sewer Board to do this work, and WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Sever Board has requested that the Village do this maintenance and has proviled to the Village a contract and a letter clarifying the intent of some sections of the agreement, and WHEREAS, the agreement provides for the Metropolitan Sewer Board to reimburse the Village of Plymouth for this work. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF PLYMOUTH: "An Interceptor Maintenance Agreement between the Village of Plymouth and the Metropolitan Sewer Board is hereby approved aad the proper Village officials are hereby authorised to sign said agreement which shall be valid until 'December 31, 1972." The notion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Spaeth and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Hilde, Councilmen Spaeth, Hunt, Seibold and Neils. The following voted against or abstained: .None. Whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
