C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2018-349
R ESOLUTION A UTHORIZING THE USE OF C OMPARABLE W ORTH R ESOURCE P LANNING F UNDS TO
CONVERT H ARDCOPY E MPLOYEE F ILES TO L ASERFICHE
WHEREAS, since 2013, City departments have been converting paper files to Laserfiche, the City’s electronic
records management system; and
WHEREAS, electronic records management systems can save staff time, reduce the amount of storage
space needed, and makes it easier to comply with State of Minnesota records retention requirements; and
WHEREAS, staff desires to partner with OPG-3 in converting hardcopy human resources related files to
Laserfiche.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that
payment to OPG-3 is approved in the amount of $5,365 which will be taken from the Comparable Worth Resource
Planning Fund.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of November, 2018.
