Construction Estimate $938,359.75 WHEREAS, it appears that Sunram Construction, Inc. of Corcoran, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with the minimum specifications; and WHEREAS, the City’s engineering consultant recommends awarding the project to Sunram Construction, Inc. of Corcoran, MN. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that: 1. The Mayor and City Manager are authorized and directed to enter into a contract for the Total Bid, including Fall Base Bid, Spring Base Bid, Bid Alternate #1 and Bid Alternate #2 with Sunram Construction, Inc. in the name of the City of Plymouth for the improvement of the area generally located from State Highway 55 to Wayzata High School, a distance of approximately 3,850 liner feet, according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $552,454.00. 2. The City Clerk is authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest successful bidder shall be retained until a contract has been signed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funding for this project shall be from the Water Resources Fund estimated in an amount of $565,474.50, with the remainder estimated at $138,113.50 provided by Elm Creek Watershed Management Commission. APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of November, 2018.
