R ESOLUTION N O. 2018-299
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING D ISPOSITION OF T AX F ORFEITED L AND
FOR P ARK AND O PEN S PACE P ROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has received notification from Hennepin County regarding two
adjoining parcels in the County’s tax-forfeited inventory; and
WHEREAS, provided in Minnesota Statute 282, the City Council is asked to give input
regarding disposition of this parcel of land; and
WHEREAS, tax forfeited parcels PID 02-118-22-21-0041 and PID 02-118-22-21-0086 have
no pending special assessments; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources has indicated that parcel (PID: 02-118-22-21-
0041) contains regionally significant ecological areas of outstanding rank; and
WHEREAS, together the two parcels are 3.27 acres and will be added to the park system and
utilized as a future mini-park or open space.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the disposition of the tax forfeited land at a purchase price of $361.40 utilizing Park
Dedication Funds is approved.
