City Council Special Meeting
July 24, 2018
Mayor Slavik called a Special Meeting of the Plymouth City Council to order at 5:30 p.m. in the
Medicine Lake Room of City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on July 24, 2018.
COUNCIL PRESENT: Mayor Slavik, Councilmembers Prom, Wosje, Willis, Davis, Johnson,
and Carroll.
ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Callister, Administrative Services Director Hokkanen, Public
Works Director Thompson, Economic Development Manager Landhauser, Park and Recreation
Director Evans, Public Safety Director Goldstein, Fire Chief Coppa, Community Development
Director Juetten, and City Clerk Engdahl.
Economic Development Strategic Planning
Administrative Services Director Hokkanen and Economic Development Manager Landhauser
led the Council through a consensus workshop focused on establishing key priorities of
economic development for the City.
Future Study Sessions
The Council scheduled the following:
• City Manager's quarterly update following the August 21 Study Session
• TwinWest update added to the September 11 Study Session agenda
Adiournment
Mayor Slavik adjourned the meeting at 7:00 p.m.
