C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2018-224
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING E LECTION J UDGES FOR THE 2018
P RIMARY AND G ENERAL E LECTIONS
WHEREAS, the State Primary Election will be held on August 14, 2018 and the General Election
on November 6, 2018; and
WHEREAS, the City is responsible for hiring and training election judges and utilizes individuals
that participated in the caucus process, those individuals who have previously served or who are new,
and City staff; and
WHEREAS, per State Statute, 204.21, Subd. 2, the City may appoint additional election judges
within 25 days prior to any election if additional election judges will be required; and
WHEREAS, attached to this Resolution is the list of individuals to be appointed for the 2018
Elections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that the attached list of individuals are appointed to serve as election judges for the 2018
Elections and further, the City may appoint additional election judges within 25 days prior to both
elections if additional election judges are required without further action.
