R ESOLUTION A PPROVING J OINT P OWERS A GREEMENT WITH T HREE R IVERS P ARKS D ISTRICT AND
C OOPERATIVE A GREEMENT WITH THE S TATE OF M INNESOTA FOR THE F ERNBROOK L ANE M ILL AND
O VERLAY AND S CHMIDT L AKE R OAD AT I-494 E XPANSION P ROJECTS
C ITY P ROJECT N OS. ST189002.001 AND ST180003
WHEREAS, a Joint Powers Agreement with Three Rivers Park District has been prepared in which
Three Rivers Park District and the City have agreed to include reconstruction of the Three Rivers Park
trail with the project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth desires to enter into MnDOT Agreement No. 1030837 with the
State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes:
To provide for the grading, bituminous and concrete surfacing, ADA improvements, retaining
wall, storm sewer and traffic signal systems improvements and other associated construction to be
performed upon, along and adjacent to Trunk Highway No. 494 located on Schmidt Lake Road from
Fernbrook Lane North to Northwest Boulevard within the corporate City limits under State Project No.
2785-432 (T.H. 494=393).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that:
1. The Joint Powers Agreement between the City of Plymouth and Three Rivers Park
District for the Schmidt Lake Road at I-494 Expansion has been approved and the Mayor and City
Manager are authorized to execute the Agreement and any Amendments to the Agreement.
2. Agreement No. 1030837 with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation is
approved and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the Agreement and any
Amendments to the Agreement.
