R ESOLUTION C ALLING FOR H EARING ON P ROPOSED A SSESSMENT FOR THE
2018 C ONTRACTOR M ILL AND O VERLAY P ROJECT (ST189004.002)
WHEREAS, by a resolution passed by the Council on April 24, 2018, the City Clerk was directed
to prepare a proposed assessment of the cost for the improvement located in the streets north of
Ridgemount Avenue West, west of CSAH 73, east of CSAH 61, south of and including Sunset Trail, and
excluding 1st Avenue and Wedgewood Lane. Also included are Pineview Lane between Sunset Trail
and 6th Avenue, Sycamore Circle and Sycamore Lane south of 6th Avenue, Evergreen Lane,
Cottonwood Lane, and 5th Avenue north of Sunset Trail, and Campus Drive from CSAH 61 to Xenium
Lane, by mill and overlay of bituminous pavement, replacement of concrete curb and gutter, water
repair, sewer repair, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk has notified the Council that such proposed assessment has been
completed and filed in the office of the City Clerk for public inspection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. A hearing shall be held on the 26th day of June, 2018, in the City Council Chambers of the
Plymouth City Center, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota at 7:00 p.m. to pass
upon such proposed assessment and at such time and place all persons owning property
affected by such improvement will be given an opportunity to be heard with reference to such
assessment.
2. The City Clerk is directed to cause a notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be
published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing and shall state
in the notice the total cost of the improvement. The City Clerk shall also cause mailed notice to
be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two weeks
prior to the hearing.
