R ESOLUTION N O. 2018-112
R ESOLUTION A WARDING C ONTRACT FOR
J ANITORIAL S ERVICES FOR C ITY F ACILITIES
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Janitorial Services for City Facilities, bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:
Contractor Total Schedules A, B, C
D,& E
Allied National Services $11,083.58 per month
Perfection Plus $15,015.02 per month
Marsden Services $26,808.18 per month
WHEREAS, Allied National Services, Inc. of Brooklyn Park, MN was the lowest responsible bidder
complying with the minimum qualifications but has, both verbally and in writing, declined to enter into a
contract for janitorial services with the City; and
WHEREAS, Perfection Plus, of Eden Prairie, MN is the next lowest responsible bidder complying with the
minimum qualifications, and City staff recommends awarding the project to Perfection Plus, of Eden Prairie, MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into the contract for Schedules A, B, C, D
& E with Perfection Plus, of Eden Prairie, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Janitorial Services for
City Facilities according to the specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file in the office of
the City Engineer in the amount of $15,015.02 per month.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funding for this contract shall be from the Facilities Budget in the
amount of $15,015.02 per month.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of March, 2018.
