ADJOURN SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING March 13, 2018 Agenda Number: 2B To: Dave Callister, City Manager Prepared by: Ben Landhauser, Economic Development Manager Reviewed by: Item: Discussion related to Concept Plan for Allen property on Highway 55 1.ACTION REQUESTED: Tony Kuechle, Sr. Vice President of Development for Doran Companies, will present a concept for developing the 12.88 acre property located north of Highway 55 between the major intersections with Revere Lane North and South Shore Drive as a multi-family housing project. The purpose of the item is to allow the Council to provide high-level reaction to the concept while also providing opportunity for any questions related to the development details as they are known and understood today. 2.BACKGROUND: This particular property has been guided and zoned contemplating commercial office as a viable use. Previous action on the property has included some work to contain unsuitable soils for development.
