HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Ordinance 2018-04CITY OF PLYMOUTH HENNEPIN COUNTY, MINNESOTA ORDINANCE NO. 2018-04 ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 21 (ZONING ORDINANCE) OF THE CITY CODE TO CLASSIFY CERTAIN LAND LOCATED AT 5330 VICKSBURG LANE (2017105) THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH ORDAINS: Section 1. Amendment of City Code. Chapter 21 of the City Code of the City of Plymouth, Minnesota, adopted December 18, 1996 as amended, is hereby amended by changing the classification on the City of Plymouth Zoning Map from FRD (future restricted development) to RSF-3 (single family detached 3) with respect to property currently legally described as follows: That part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 118 North, Range 22, West of the 5`h Principal Meridian, Hennepin County Minnesota, described as follows: Commencing at the Northeast corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence on an assumed bearing of North 89 degrees, 33 minutes, 19 seconds West along the North line of said Northwest Quarter a distance of 1,585 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence North 89 degrees, 33 minutes, 19 seconds West along said North line a distance of 1,019.07 feet to the Northwest corner of said Northwest Quarter; thence Southerly along the West line of said Northwest Quarter to its intersection with a line 60 feet North of, measured radial to, and parallel with the Northerly right-of-way line of the Soo Line Railroad; thence Easterly and Southeasterly along said parallel line to its intersection with a line bearing South 0 degrees, 26 minutes, 41 seconds West from the point of beginning; thence North 0 degrees, 26 minutes, 41 seconds East a distance of 488.29 feet to the point of beginning, according to the United States Government Survey thereof and situated in Hennepin County, Minnesota. new. An undivided one-sixth (1/6) interest in that part of the Northwest Quarter of Section 9, Township 118 North, Range 22, Hennepin County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of the Northeasterly right-of-way line of the Soo Line Railroad and the East line of said Northwest Quarter; thence Northwesterly along said right-of-way line a distance of 152.38 feet to the point of beginning; thence Northeasterly along a line radial to said right-of-way line to its intersection with a line 60 feet Northeasterly of, measured radial to, and parallel with said right-of-way line; thence Northwesterly along said parallel line a distance of 393.81 feet; thence Northeasterly deflecting to the right 90 degrees and distance of 30 feet; thence Northwesterly deflecting to the left 90 degrees a distance of 100 feet; thence Southwesterly deflecting Ordinance 2018-04 2017105 Page 2 to the left 90 degrees a distance of 30 feet to said parallel line; thence Northwesterly along said parallel line to its intersection with the West line of said Northwest Quarter; thence Southerly along said West line to the Northerly right-of-way line of said Soo Line Railroad; thence Easterly and Southeasterly along said right-of-way line to the point of beginning. Section 2. Effective Date. This amendment shall take effect immediately upon its passage. ADOPTED by the City Council this 27th day of February, 2018.
