R ESOLUTION A PPROVING H ENNEPIN C OUNTY
S PORTS P ROGRAM E QUIPMENT G RANT
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth has requested County participation in the cost of
improvements to the playfields at Bass Lake Playfield through the Hennepin County Youth Sports
Equipment Grant Program; and
WHEREAS, Hennepin County grant funds are designated for projects to build, repair,
renovate or expand youth sports facilities in Hennepin County; and
WHEREAS, the City has cooperatively applied for the Hennepin County Youth Sports
Equipment Grant with Plymouth Wayzata Youth Baseball Association; and
WHEREAS, Bass Lake fields #1 and #6 dugout improvements include dugout covers; and
WHEREAS, the estimated cost of the dugout are $20,000 and will be constructed in 2018; and
WHEREAS, upon completion of the project in 2018, the City shall notify the County and submit an
invoice for reimbursement of $10,000 and submit an invoice for reimbursement to PWYBA for $5,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that
the City Council approves the Hennepin County Agreement for Dugout Covers at Bass Lake Playfield and
authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to sign the agreement.
