R ESOLUTION N O. 2018-046
R ESOLUTION A WARDING THE C ONTRACT FOR THE
Q UAIL R IDGE D RAINAGE I MPROVEMENT P ROJECT (WR16017)
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the Quail Ridge Drainage Improvement Project,
bids were received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:

Landwehr Construction $232,429.20

Valley Paving $480,050.00
Engineers Estimate $157,299.50
WHEREAS, it appears that Sunram Construction, Inc. of Corcoran, MN is the lowest responsible bidder,
complying with the minimum qualifications; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to Sunram Construction, Inc. of
Corcoran, MN.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into the contract for the bid with Sunram
Construction, Inc. of Corcoran, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the Quail Ridge Drainage
Improvement Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $127,200.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funding for this project shall be from the Water Resources Fund in the
amount of $133,560.00.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 23rd day of January, 2018.
