R ESOLUTION N O. 2018-037
R ESOLUTION R ECEIVING E NGINEERING P ROPOSALS AND D ESIGNATING
THE C ONSULTING E NGINEER FOR THE
CSAH 9/I-494 I NTERCHANGE P RELIMINARY E NGINEERING (ST19003)
WHEREAS, the CSAH 9 / I-494 is listed in the 2018-2022 Capital Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposal was sent to three engineering firms that have expertise to
deliver the project; and
WHEREAS, three proposals were received and evaluated jointly by staff from the City of
Plymouth, Hennepin County, and MnDOT; and
WHEREAS, City staff recommends that WSB & Associates, Inc. be designated as the consulting
engineer for the preliminary engineering for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that WSB & Associates, Inc. is designated as the City’s consulting engineer for the CSAH 9 /
I-494 Interchange preliminary engineering in the amount of $179,600.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is authorized to make minor modifications to
the agreement, if necessary, and the Mayor and City Manager hereby authorized to sign the Agreement
for Engineering Services.
