RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONTRACT FOR THE
2018 POND MAINTENANCE PROJECT (WR189001
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the 2018 Pond Maintenance Project, bids were
received, opened and tabulated according to State law, and the following bids were received complying with the
advertisement:

WHEREAS, New Look Contracting, Inc. of Rogers, MN is the lowest responsible bidder, complying with
the minimum qualifications; and

WHEREAS, the City Engineer recommends awarding the project to New Look Contracting, Inc. of Rogers,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to enter into the contract for Schedules A, B, D &
E with New Look Contracting, Inc. of Rogers, MN in the name of the City of Plymouth for the 2018 Pond
Maintenance Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City Council and on file
in the office of the City Engineer in the amount of $69,525.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funding for this project shall be from the Water Resources Fund in
the amount of $73,001.25.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 9th day of January, 2018.
