Approve Annual Report to District Court Judge 6) Adjourn Next Annual Meeting on December 12, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Medicine Lake Room Proposed Minutes Charter Commission Meeting December 14, 2016 Chair Dunn called the Annual Meeting of the Plymouth Charter Commission to order at 7:00 p.m. in the Medicine Lake Room at City Hall, 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, on December 14, 2016. PRESENT: Chair Dunn, Commissioners Doherty, Hoeft, Fandrich, Andreasen, Neset, Norman, Murphy, Preus, Willis, Bobra, Bartling, Fishbein, and Mauritson. ABSENT: Commissioner Donovan. ALSO PRESENT: Administrative Services Director Fischer, City Attorney Knutson, and City Clerk Engdahl. Approval of Minutes Motion was made by Commissioner Willis, and seconded by Commissioner Preus, to approve the minutes from the December 9, 2015 Annual Meeting. With all members voting in favor, the motion carried. Reports of the Chair There were no reports. Old Business (4A) City Council Adoption of Ordinance Amending Section 2.07 of the City Charter City Clerk Engdahl reported the City Council adopted an Ordinance Amending Section 2.07 of the City Charter concerning Council vacancies on April 26, 2016 as recommended by the Charter Commission. New Business (5A) 2016 General Election Update City Clerk Engdahl provided a recap of the 2016 General Election. Proposed Minutes 1 of 2 Annual Meeting of December 14, 2016 (513) City Attorney Update City Attorney Knutson mentioned there is an attempt in Minneapolis to petition for a minimum wage of $15 per hour. (5C) City Update Administrative Services Director Fischer provided a State of the City report. (51)) Election of Officers for 2017 Motion was made by Commissioner Bobra and seconded by Commissioner Willis, to elect Anne Andreasen as Chair of the Charter Commission for 2017. With all members voting in favor, the motion carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Doherty, and seconded by Commissioner Preps, to elect Jim Willis as Vice Chairperson of the Charter Commission for 2017. With all members voting in favor, the motion carried. Motion was made by Commissioner Willis and seconded by Commissioner Preus, to elect Richard Norman as Secretaa of the Charter Commission for 2017. With all members voting in favor, the motion carried. (5E) Annual Report to District Court Judge Motion was made by Commissioner Andreasen and second by Commissioner Bobra, to approve the 2016 annual report to the District Court Judge. With all members voting in favor, the motion carried. Chair Dunn announced the 2017 annual meeting of the Charter Commission will be held on December 13, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Medicine Lake Room. Adiournment Chair Dunn adjourned the annual meeting at 7:42 p.m. Sandra R.
