R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-360
R ESOLUTION R ECEIVING E NGINEERING P ROPOSALS AND D ESIGNATING
THE C ONSULTING E NGINEER FOR THE S CHMIDT L AKE R OAD
AT I-494 E XPANSION (ST180003)
WHEREAS, the Schmidt Lake Road at I-494 Expansion Project is listed in the 2017-2021 Capital
Improvement Program; and
WHEREAS, a request for proposal was sent to two engineering firms that have expertise to
deliver the project; and
WHEREAS, two proposals were received and evaluated by City Staff; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that Kimley-Horn & Associates, Inc. be designated as the
consulting engineer for this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc. is designated as the City’s consulting engineer for the
Schmidt Lake Road at I-494 Expansion Project (ST180003) in the amount of $186,000.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to sign the
Agreement for Engineering Services.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 28th day of November, 2017.
