R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-354
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING A C OMPREHENSIVE P LAN A MENDMENT TO REGUIDE
ROUGHLY 2.4 ACRES FROM CO TO LA-4 FOR C RANBERRY R IDGE (2017 075)
WHEREAS, Beacon Interfaith Housing Collaborative has requested a comprehensive plan
amendment to reguide roughly 2.4 acres of land located at 18140, 18220, and 18240 State Highway 55
from CO (commercial office) to LA-4 (living area-4); and
WHEREAS, the land affected by the reguiding is presently legally described as follows:
Lot 1 and the Northwesterly one-half of Lot 2, Block 1, Osier Addition, and all that part of the
Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 18, Township 118, Range 22, lying
Northeasterly of State Highway No. 55 as now traveled and used and Northwesterly of Osier
Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
AND
Lot 3 and the Southeasterly one-half of Lot 2, Block 1, Osier Addition, Hennepin County,
Minnesota.
AND
Lots 4 and 5, Block 1, Osier Addition, Hennepin County, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said request at a duly called public hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve an amendment to the comprehensive plan to
reguide roughly 2.4 acres of land located at 18140, 18220, and 18240 State Highway 55 from CO
(commercial office) to LA-4 (living area-4).
FURTHER, to incorporate the changes, the City will modify Figure 3-1, 2030 Land Use Plan in
Chapter 3 of the Plymouth Comprehensive Plan; and
FURTHER, approval of the comprehensive plan amendment is contingent upon, and subject to,
the required review and response by the Metropolitan Council.
