R ESOLUTION A PPROVING F INDINGS OF F ACT FOR A Z ONING O RDINANCE T EXT
A MENDMENT TO S ECTIONS 21005, 21177, 21180, 21350, 21352, 21355,
21360, 21365, 21370 AND 21160 OF THE Z ONING O RDINANCE AND S ECTIONS 803
AND 1015.27 OF C ITY C ODE TO A DD AND A MEND SMALL WIRELESS FACILITIES AND
WIRELESS SUPPORT FACILITIES IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY (2017094)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth initiated amendments to the definitions, telecommunications
rights-of-way users, public property rights-of-way, future restricted development district, single family
detached rural to urban transition district, single family detached dwelling district 1, single family
detached dwelling district 2, single family detached dwelling district 3, single and two family dwelling
district and essential services sections of the zoning ordinance and amendments to the streets, alleys,
and public grounds and licenses and permits; procedures and fees regulations; and,
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the proposed text amendments at a duly
called public hearing and recommends approval of the text amendments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that it should and does approve the zoning ordinance text amendments to add small
wireless facilities and wireless support facilities in the public right-of-way related definitions and adopt
new small wireless facilities and wireless support facilities in the public right-of-way regulations and
modify the city code, based upon the finding that the proposed amendments would be consistent with
the city’s comprehensive plan and with the purpose and intent of the city’s ordinances and policies.
