R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-323
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING N AME FOR
N EIGHBORHOOD P ARK AS H ORSESHOE H ILL P ARK
WHEREAS, the City has acquired parkland at 6110 Garland Lane North; and
WHEREAS, the neighborhood park property will serve the developments of Steeple Hill, Elm
Creek Meadows, and Pines at Elm Creek; and
WHEREAS, the site characteristics include include a hill, with a flat green area at the base and
the parcel is near the Silver Buckle Saddle Club; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Advisory Commission reviewed name options for this park
and recommended the name Horseshoe Hill Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the name of Horseshoe Hill Park for the neighborhood park at 6110 Garland Lane
North is approved.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 24th day of October, 2017.
