HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2017-301 C ITY O F P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-301 R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P AYMENT N O. 4 AND F INAL FOR THE W ATER F RONT L IFT S TATION R EHABILITATION (15014) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Minger Construction, Inc. as contractor have entered into an agreement for the Waterfront Lift station Rehabilitation, City Project 15014, and said agreement was approved by the City Council on October 13, 2015; and WHEREAS, the engineer has certified acceptance of the work and approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA: 1. That the original contract amount was $564,750.00. Change Order No.1 in the amount of $20,058 bringing the new contract amount and value of work to $584,808.00 and is approved. 2. That the work performed by the contractor for the Waterfront Lift Station Rehabilitation and certified to the Council by the engineer as acceptable, being the same, is released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 4 and Final in the remaining amount of $28,783.89 (reflecting $36,913.89 less $8,130.00 previously authorized by Council on June 27, 2017) to Minger Construction, Inc. for the Waterfront Lift Station Rehabilitation project is approved and the City’s Administrative Services Director is authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. Funding for the total project cost of $637,608.00 is from the sewer fund. APPROVED by the City Council on this 26th day of September, 2017.
