C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-296
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE 2018 P RELIMINARY B UDGETS
WHEREAS, in 2007, the City Council directed staff to implement a biennial budget
cycle with a proposed current budget year and an in concept budget proposal; and
WHEREAS, the 2018 budget reflects the first year of the 2018/2019 biennial budget;
and
WHEREAS, 2018 budget resolution and the accompanying proposed 2018 tax levies
contained in Resolution No. 2017-297 are submitted by the City in accordance with
Minnesota Statutes and other applicable laws in effect on this date; and
WHEREAS, the City Council concurs on the 2018 Plymouth Housing and
Redevelopment Authority budgets in the amount of $4,064,085.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA that the proposed 2018 operating budgets for the following funds
are given approval.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council declares its intent to take all
necessary actions legally permissible to the submission and approval of the City’s budget and
property tax levies.
