C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-292
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE P URCHASE OF B REATHING
A IR C OMPRESSORS AND S ELF C ONTAINED B REATHING A PPARATUS (SCBA)
WHEREAS, the approved 2017 budget includes funds for the replacement of the fire
departments air compressors and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA); and
WHEREAS, bids were received for breathing air compressors, and Alex Air Apparatus is the
lowest responsible bidder in the amount of $151,785; and
WHEREAS, bids were received for SCBA, and Emergency Response Solutions is the lowest
responsible bidder in the amount of $502,500.57.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the purchases of the air compressors from Alex Air Apparatus in the amount of
$151,785 and SCBA from Emergency Response Solutions for $502,500.57 are approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that funding shall be from the resource allocation account.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of September, 2017.
