R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-291
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING S UBMISSION OF T ECHNICAL A SSISTANT G RANT
A PPLICATION FOR THE M INNESOTA T ARGETED B ROWNFIELD A SSESSMENT
P ROGRAM ON BEHALF OF THE S ILVER B UCKLE S ADDLE C LUB
WHEREAS, the Silver Buckle Saddle Club’s initial investigation of their site found possible
contamination; and
WHEREAS, the Silver Buckle Saddle Club contacted the City of Plymouth about possible
contamination and submission of a grant application; and
WHEREAS, the City supports the grant application to be submitted to the Minnesota Pollution
Control Agency Targeted Brownfield Assessment Program on behalf of the Silver Buckle Saddle Club; and
WHEREAS, the City certifies that it will comply with all applicable laws and regulations as stated
in the contract agreements; and
WHEREAS, the City agrees to act as representative for the project contained in the Targeted
Brownfield Assessment Program application to be submitted to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that submission of a Technical Assistant Grant application for the Minnesota Targeted
Brownfield Assessment Program to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency on behalf of the Silver
Buckle Saddle Club is approved and the Mayor and City Manager are authorized to execute the
documents.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 12th day of September, 2017.
