R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-289
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P LANS AND S PECIFICATIONS AND
O RDERING A DVERTISEMENT FOR B IDS FOR THE
P LYMOUTH C REEK S TREAM R ESTORATION P ROJECT (16007)
WHEREAS, plans and specifications have been prepared by the City of Plymouth
Engineering Department for the Plymouth Creek Stream Restoration Project in the City of
Plymouth and said plans and specifications have been presented to the City Council for
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, a copy of which is on file in the City Engineer’s office
and made a part hereof, are approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted in the official paper and in
Quest CDN an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvement under
such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published
twice, shall specify the work to be done, shall state that bids will be received by the
City Clerk until 12:00 p.m. on Friday October 6, 2017, at which time they will be
publicly opened in the City Council Chambers of the Plymouth City Center building
at 3400 Plymouth Boulevard, Plymouth, Minnesota, by the Engineer and City Clerk,
will then be tabulated, and will be considered by the council at 7:00 p.m. on October
24, 2017, in the City Council Chambers. Any bidder whose responsibility is
questioned during consideration of the bid will be given an opportunity to address
the City Council on the issue of responsibility. No bids will be considered unless
sealed and filed with the City Clerk and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashier's
check, bid bond or certified check payable to the City Clerk for five percent of the
amount of such bid.
