HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2017-260 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-260 R ESOLUTION A FFIRMING C ITY S TAFF’S I NTERPRETATION OF THE C ITY’S Z ONING O RDINANCE P ERTAINING TO F ENCING M ATERIALS (2017066) WHEREAS, on July 10, 2017, Jacqueline Sullivan requested an appeal of the interpretation of a rubber coated welded wire as a prohibited fence material; WHEREAS, when hearing an appeal, the City Council acts in its capacity as the Board of Adjustments and Appeals. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it should and does affirm city staff’s interpretation of the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance regarding prohibited fencing materials, subject to the following finding: 1. City staff correctly interpreted the legislative intent of the applicable provisions of the Plymouth Zoning Ordinance regarding prohibited fencing materials.
