C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-253
R ESOLUTION A UTHORIZING A DVERTISEMENT FOR B IDS FOR THE R EPLACEMENT
OF S ELF C ONTAINED B REATHING A PPARATUS AND B REATHING A IR COMPRESSORS
WHEREAS, the Fire Department staff has identified the Self Contained Breathing Apparatus and
Breathing Air Compressors for replacement in 2017 from the resource allocation account; and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared specifications based on safety features, mechanical reliability,
ergonomics, warranties and serviceability for the replacement of this equipment; and
WHEREAS, advertisement of bids will be placed in the City’s official newspaper; and
WHEREAS, Council approval is required prior to staff purchasing the equipment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA that advertisement for bids for the replacement of Self Contained Breathing Apparatus and
Breathing Air Compressors is authorized.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 25th day of July, 2017.
