SPECIAL COUNCIL MEETING
NOVEMBER 4, 1993
A special meeting of the Plymouth City Council was called to order by Deputy Mayor
Edson at 1:40 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Center, 3400 Plymouth Blvd., on
November 4, 1993, for the purpose of canvassing the results of the November 2, 1993,
general election.
The City Council had scheduled two possible times for this special council meeting at the
November 2 regular meeting. A quorum of the Council was unable to be attained at either
of these times. This meeting was called as an emergency meeting of the Council because
state law requires a local governing body to certify the results of a local election within
two days of the election.
PRESENT: Deputy Mayor Edson, Councilmembers Helliwell and Tierney
ABSENT: Mayor Bergman, Councilmember Vasiliou
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Johnson, City Clerk Rauenhorst
CERTIFY RESULTS OF NOVEMBER 2 ELECTION
The Council reviewed the results of the November 2 general election.
MOTION was made by Councilmember Helliwell, seconded by Councilmember
Tierney, to adopt RESOLUTION 93-722 CERTIFYING RESULTS OF CITY
GENERAL ELECTION - NOVEMBER 2, 1993.
Motion carried on a roll call vote, three ayes.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:50 p.m.
