HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Minutes 03-15-1993 Special 1MINUTES FORUM MARCH 15, 1993 A special meeting forum of the Plymouth City Council was called to order by Mayor Bergman at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the City Center, 3400 Plymouth Blvd., on March 15, 1993. PRESENT: Mayor Bergman, Councilmembers Edson, Helliwell, and Tierney ABSENT: Councihnember Vasiliou STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Johnson, Public Works Director Moore, Community Development Director Dillerud, Park Director Blank, Finance Director Hahn, and City Clerk Rauenhorst Luis A. Castanlda, 3305 Harbor Lane, addressed the Council with respect to concerns with service provided by King Video Cable. He described several examples of problems individuals have had regarding King Video's billing procedures. He stated late fees are being inappropriately charged and individuals have been billed for "free" installation. He stated the conduct of the employees at King Video is unprofessional. He described his experience with King Video Cable. He stated that since the City issues the franchise to King Video Cable, the Council should address these concerns. Mayor Bergman stated that he and Manager Johnson serve on the Northwest Suburbs Cable Communication Commission and they will bring these issues to the attention of the Commission. Manager Johnson stated that King Video's billing procedure has been placed on the next Commission agenda. The meeting was adjourned at 6:55 p.m. City Clerk
