R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-238
R ESOLUTION O RDERING I MPROVEMENT FOR THE
2017 C ONTRACTOR M ILL AND O VERLAY P ROJECT (ST179004.002)
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a resolution on April 25, 2017, which fixed a date for a City
Council hearing on the proposed improvement of the streets adjacent to commercial and industrial
properties south and west of State Highway 55, east of Interstate 494 and north of and including 16th
Avenue, excluding County Road 6 and 61 by edge mill and overlay of bituminous pavement, replacement
of concrete curb and gutter, water repair, sewer repair, and all necessary appurtenances; and
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted a resolution on the June 13, 2017 changing the date of the
City Council hearing on the proposed improvement from June 13, 2017 to June 27, 2017; and
WHEREAS, a minimum ten days mailed notice and two weeks published notice of the hearing
was given, and the hearing was held thereon the June 27, 2017, at which all persons desiring to be heard
will be given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvement is ordered as proposed in the Council resolution adopted June 27, 2017.
2. The City Council declares its official intent to reimburse itself for the costs of the
improvement from the proceeds of the tax exempt bond.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 27th day of June, 2017.
