HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2017-224 C ITY O F P LYMOUTH RESOLUTION N O. 2017-224 R ESOLUTION A PPROVING P AYMENT N O. 4 AND F INAL FOR THE W ATER F RONT L IFT S TATION R EHABILITATION P ROJECT (15014) WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth as owner and Minger Construction, Inc. as contractor have entered into an agreement for the Waterfront Lift Station Rehabilitation, City Project 15014, and said agreement was approved by the City Council on October 13, 2015; and WHEREAS, the engineer has certified acceptance of the work and approval of the final request for payment. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, 1. That the original contract amount was $564,750.00. Change Order #1 in the amount of $20,058 bringing the new contract amount to $584,808.00 is approved. 2. That the work performed by the contractor for the Waterfront Lift Station Rehabilitation and certified to the Council by the engineer is deemed acceptable, being the same, is released from the contract except as to the conditions of the performance bond, any and all legal rights of the owner, required guarantees and correction of faulty work after final payment. 3. Request for Payment No. 4 and Final in the amount of $8,130.00 to Minger Construction, Inc. for the Waterfront Lift Station Rehabilitation project is approved and the City’s Administrative Services Director is authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith. Funding for the total project cost of $637,608.00 is from the Sewer Fund. APPROVED by the City Council on this 27th day of June, 2017.
