C ITY OF P LYMOUTH
R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-203
R ESOLUTION A PPROVING THE P URCHASE OF A R EPLACEMENT
G ARBAGE T RUCK (17-CE-560)
WHEREAS, the approved 2017-2021 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and Central Equipment
budget include funds for a replacement garbage truck (#560); and
WHEREAS, the City accepts the quote from Koenig & Sons Equipment, Inc. to purchase a
garbage truck according to the City’s specifications; and
WHERAS, the City accepts the trade in price of $25,000 from Koenig & Sons Equipment,
Inc.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH,
MINNESOTA, that the purchase of one current model garbage truck from Koenig & Sons Equipment, Inc.
for $73,886.00 is approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that funding shall be from the Central Equipment Budget (600-70-
760-76001-8100.500).
APPROVED by the City Council on this 13th day of June, 2017.
