R ESOLUTION A PPROVING R EQUEST FOR P AYMENT N O. 2 AND F INAL
TO WITH X CEL E NERGY TO B URY P OWER L INES IN THE V ICKSBURG L ANE S TREET
R ECONSTRUCTION AND E XPANSION P ROJECT (16001)
WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth and Xcel Energy have entered into an agreement for to bury the
power lines, said agreement was approved by the City Council on February 23, 2016; and
WHEREAS, Xcel Energy has relocated their facilities from overhead to underground as part of the
Vicksburg Lane Reconstruction and Expansion Project, City Project 16001.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA:
1. That the original amount was estimated at $467,261 and that the value of the work to
date is $387,267.23 and is approved. The final contract amount is $79,993.77 or 17%
below the original contract amount.
2. Request for Payment No. 2 and Final in the amount of $148,636.73 to Xcel Energy part of
the Vicksburg Lane Reconstruction and Expansion Project is approved and the
Administrative Services Director is authorized and directed to pay the same forthwith.
APPROVED by the City Council on this 11th day of April, 2017.
