HomeMy WebLinkAboutCity Council Resolution 2017-141 C ITY OF P LYMOUTH R ESOLUTION N O. 2017-141 R ESOLUTION R EALLOCATING U NSPENT C OMMUNITY D EVELOPMENT B LOCK G RANT P ROGRAM F UNDS FROM P RIOR Y EAR G RANT WHEREAS, the City of Plymouth received Fiscal Year 2014 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding, of which $13,000 was allocated to Community Action Partnership of Suburban Hennepin (CAPSH); and WHEREAS, the $13,000 allocation to CAPSH was not fully expended prior to the end of the contract period; and WHEREAS, on March 23, 2017 the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority held a duly constituted public hearing to allow interested parties to express their opinion; and WHEREAS, the Plymouth Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Plymouth has determined the following to be an appropriate use of the unspent CDBG funds in accordance with federal guidelines and the City’s HUD approved Consolidated Plan; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLYMOUTH, MINNESOTA, that it authorizes the reallocation of $5,064.53 in CDBG funds from the 2014 CAPSH activities into the 2017 HOME Line social service funding request, as outlined below: Remaining Allocation Proposed Allocation 2014 CAPSH $5,064 $0 2017 HOME Line n/a $5,064 Subtotal $5,064 $5,064 APPROVED by the City Council on this 11th day of April, 2017.
